This is our personal space and has to be spotless. Freshen up your mattress with Baking Soda. With this, you can limit the bacterial contamination and allergy-provoking dust on your bed in no time. At least once a month, vacuum your mattress and apply an ample sprinkling of baking soda to it. Let the baking soda sit for a few hours to absorb any odors, vacuum again, and your bed is as good as new.

• The Parlor or Sitting Room

Meanwhile, the parlor is the first place where your guests see, so it is important to make a perfect impression. Remember to dust your electronics, chairs, tables, armrest daily. Ditch rugs for tiles or wooden floors, they are better as they don’t reserve dust.

In addition, remember to use the right cleaning materials for cleaning the parlor. Use quality green cleaning products. Keep a foot mat at the entrance door to the parlor. This is useful as guests can reduce the dust on their feet or shoes on the foot mat before coming in.

• Bathroom and Toilet

Use a cleaning solution in the bottom of your toilet brush container. Keep your toilet brush smelling fresh by using a few splashes of cleaning product in the bottom of the container. It will help to brighten your bathroom and make it smell better, it is also a convenient disinfectant. Remember to keep a liquid hand wash and a mop stick.

Very importantly, remember to make sure water runs in the toilet so that people can flush after using the toilet. Your bathroom walls can get pretty dirty after a while. Always remember to use a swifter or dust mop along with any good cleaning solution of your choice to get the walls and floor clean.
